ALBANY, NY – Senator David Carlucci (D-Rockland/Westchester) today invited Charles “Charlie” Maushardt, a life-long resident of Rockland County, up to Albany to induct him as the newest member of the New York State Senate Veteran’s Hall of Fame. This prestigious designation is designed to pay tribute to New Yorkers whose gallantry in the U.S. Armed Forces is complemented by their service to the community.
“The Senate takes this opportunity to honor the brave men and women who serve our nation and protect our freedom as members of the military,” said Senator Carlucci. “The Senate Veteran’s Hall of Fame pays tribute to all who serve, so it is only fitting and deserving that we recognize Charlie Maushardt for his selfless sacrifice to make his community and better place to live.”
The New York State Senate Veteran’s Hall of Fame was created to honor and recognize outstanding veterans from the Empire State who have distinguished themselves both in military and civilian life.
