Senator Jack Martins was back in South Floral Park this past week speaking to members of the South Floral Park Civic Association and members of the South Floral Park Fire Department. The listen sessions are a continuing effort of Senator Martins to meet community members and have a frank exchange of views on issues and topics impacting New York State and local communities. In attendance at both sessions was South Floral Park Village Mayor Geoffrey Prime. South Floral Park Civic Association President Anthony Barbieri chaired the 1st session with Civic members and students from Floral Park and Sewanhaka High Schools. "I want to thank the South Floral Park Civic Association and the Fire Department for their gracious invitation to speak to them. The ideas we shared and range of issues we covered made this meeting educational and enjoyable for everyone," said Senator Martins.
