Tedisco Joins Family of Late Shenendehowa Football Player Christopher Stewart, Shen Community to Unveil New Facility

Senator Tedisco Helps dedicate Christopher F. Stewart Media Box which he secured $100,000 to serve as an everlasting tribute to Shen Football player killed by drunk and drugged driver and encourage people to make safe decisions before driving

Before the start of the Shenendehowa High School homecoming football that was held recently, Senator Jim Tedisco (R,C,I,REF-Glenville) joined the Stewart family to dedicate the Christopher F. Stewart Media Box as an everlasting tribute to the late Christopher F. Stewart, who was tragically killed in 2012 by a drunk and drugged driver. Stewart was 17 years-old and co-captain of the Shenendehowa Football Team. Shen student Deanna Rivers also lost her life in the incident and students Matthew Hardy and Bailey Wind were seriously injured.
