Senator Jim Tedisco welcomed to the Senate Chamber Chase Thalheimer, a Shenendehowa High School sophomore and his father Peter. Chase is a member of the Southern Saratoga County YMCA in Clifton Park's Youth in Government Program and has been selected as one of just 20 young people to represent New York State at the Conference on National Affairs in the Blue Ridge Mountains in North Carolina where youth program delegates from all over the United States will gather to present their proposed legislation.
Chase is working on a proposal for perhaps the most vexing political problem in the world right now: a two-state solution to the conflict between Israel and Palestine.
"At just 16 years-old, Chase is clearly a very smart and engaging young man with a promising future ahead of him. I wish him continued success," said Senator Jim Tedisco.
