Addabbo INVITES CONSTITUENTS TO GRAND OPENING for NEW SATELLITE OFFICE
Middle Village 2nd Office Is Open for Constituents’ Business
Queens, NY, May 3, 2010 – NYS Senator Joseph P. Addabbo, Jr., today announced that the grand opening of his new satellite office serving the northern part of his 15th Senate District will take place on Saturday, May 8, from 2-4 PM. Residents of all ages are invited to come in and enjoy light refreshments, entertainment for children, and a special performance by the young dancers based in the same beautiful, new LaRussa Dance Studio building.
The Senator invites all his constituents to stop by and see the new facility he opened for the convenience of his northern district constituents at 66-85 73rd Place, off the corner of Metropolitan Avenue in Middle Village. To offer them friendly, quality service are three full-time staffers and one part-time staffer and notary public. The street-level entrance is wheelchair-accessible. The second, satellite office is five miles from his main Howard Beach District Office and will be prepared to assist any individual.
“I am delighted to personally serve my northern constituents from this convenient second office. Residents can now make appointments to visit with me or my staff to discuss issues that concern them,” Addabbo stated. “We’re open to conduct the people’s business, hear their complaints, help them with problems and get things done for them. We are within the center of the northern part of my Senate district, accessible by public transportation and there is adequate street parking.” Addabbo also notes the new office is located just off the corner of the busy Metropolitan Avenue shopping/business strip, a few blocks from the post office, a Queens Library and near the Metro Mall. Addabbo expects the new office to be equipped with the same 24-hour live operator service that currently exists at his main district office, soon after the grand opening.
