"Mother Nature wreaked havoc on the lives of many Third Senate District residents this past October. Our communities stepped up to assist each other through the challenges that resulted. Amongst these great responders, many insurance companies did the right thing by their customers quickly and effectively settling extensive claims. Unfortunately, some insurance companies have been grossly underperforming in a manner that is highly questionable. The delays, lowball offers and poor customer service concern me as Chairman of the Senate Consumer Protection Committee and as the Senator representing many of these victims."
