MACEDON- Senator Pam Helming recently visited Macedon Public Library to celebrate the library as a winner of the 2019 Spectrum Digital Education Grant, an initiative to support nonprofit organizations that work with local communities, improving their lives through digital education. The library received a grant which provided 50 new laptop computers.

“Congratulations to Macedon Public Library on this amazing win for the library and the community as a whole! Our public libraries do so much to help people of all ages, abilities, and interests. Especially in rural areas of Upstate New York, local libraries are the hub of our communities. We must continue to provide our libraries with the resources they need to grow their services and upgrade their infrastructure.  This is a great investment by Spectrum and I am honored to have been a part of the celebration,” Senator Helming said.
