During my conversations with the people of Central and Northern New York, they have made it very clear that they wanted real change in Albany. They wanted to clean up the dysfunction and corruption that has made New York State a poster child for what was wrong with government in America.
That's why I believe we as state legislators need to set a standard for ethical behavior. We need to make sure that the people who elected us know where our income is coming from and who is employing us.
By adopting a real ethical reform package, I believe we can restore hope and trust in government and propel New York to a brighter future.
