According to Senator Rev. Ruben Diaz: “This residential space consists of 111 apartment units. I am delighted that through this initiative we can offer a greater sense of dignity to the families and individuals who will reside there.”
The Reverend Ruben Diaz Gardens apartment units will include 11 studios, 44 one-bedroom apartments, 45 two-bedroom apartments, and 11 three-bedroom apartments, for households earning no more than 60% of Area Median Income. In addition, ten of the units are specifically set aside for formerly homeless households.
The Project was developed as a joint venture between the Arker Companies and Jackson Development, and is managed by Progressive Management of New York Corporation.
