State Senate Majority Conference Leader John L. Sampson has announced Majority assignments to the joint Budget Conference Committees.
 
“We have made significant cuts to close the deficit, and now it is time to finish a fair and responsible budget with an open and bipartisan process,” said Senator Sampson. “Taxpayers are tired of the blame game; they want their elected officials to work together to get the job done. Conference Committees are an important part of the budget process, and the Majority is ready for them to begin as quickly as possible.”
