The district’s newly appointed Superintendent of Schools, Dr. Valerie Henning-Piedmonte, Board President Dr. Stephen O. Jambor, and many of the school’s board members, teachers, coaches and athlete’s representing Brewster’s baseball, softball and wrestling teams were on hand to personally thank the Senator for supporting their athletic programs. Dean Berardo, the school’s athletic director, presented Senator Murphy with a school shirt, making him an official member of the Bears’ Den.
State Senator Terrence Murphy said, “As the newest member of the Bears’ Den I am thrilled to be able to provide the financial support our student athletes needed. Today’s gathering of the administration, school board, faculty, staff and athletes illustrates what can happen when we work as a team on and off the field. I wish the Bears the best of luck in the upcoming season and look forward to providing additional from New York State.”
