The Kingston Library has received $10,000 for the purchase of adult and children’s reference resources in science, history, geography, government and careers.

Senator Larkin was also able to secure a $5,000 grant for Literacy Volunteers of America (LVA), Eastern Orange County, Inc. for costs associated with its successful tutoring program.

"I am very pleased to have been able to advocate for these important grants," said Senator Larkin. "The Kingston Library continues to serve area residents in innumerable ways, and the tremendous work of LVA is changing the lives of so many people in the Orange County community.
