Join the Fight! Say No to the Pay Raise for Prison Inmates

SEN. Robert G. Ortt

February 13, 2019

In today’s New York State, law-abiding citizens struggle to put their kids through school, put food on the table for their families and pay the bills for their homes.

Hard-working individuals who care for our most vulnerable are living paycheck to paycheck.

Apparently, however, New York City Democrats have issues that are more pressing:  increasing wages for inmates.

If this isn’t a clear illustration of New York City and the radical left’s distorted priorities, I’m not sure what is.

A Brooklyn Senator recently introduced legislation (S.3138) to use hundreds of millions of your tax dollars to give inmates a pay raise for their work while incarcerated.

Join me and sign my petition to tell legislators that hard-working, law-abiding New Yorkers should come before convicts.

With your signature, we can double, triple and quadruple our voice and tell those New York City Democrats: “no pay raise for prisoners!”
