Sharon Earley-Davis

Sharon Earley-Davis served in the United States Army Reserve. She achieved the rank of Sergeant First Class E-7.
Ms. Earley-Davis served as a Supply Specialist/Sergeant for 20 years, from 1984-2004. Notably, she spent eight months in Operation Desert Shield/Storm in Saudi Arabia, where she drove Deuce-and-a-Halfs and 5 tons to pick up mail for the troops in her company. As a Squad Leader and Platoon Sergeant, she assisted in operating supply warehouses. These were built from scratch for front line units to receive much-needed supplies to maintain vehicles and equipment needed to complete missions while on the front lines of war. She also has training as an MP (Military Police).
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from Troy (State) University in Troy, Alabama, where she enrolled in the Armed Forces as a college sophomore. Ms. Earley-Davis retired from The City University of New York in Brooklyn, Medgar Evers College, where she was a Peace Officer in Public Safety and the Security Department as an Assistant Director for over 27 years.
Upon her retirement from the Reserve, she began to serve her community and those in need.
Ms. Earley-Davis serves on the Elmont Union Free School District Board. She is a member of and Co-Advisor to the Youth and College Division of the NAACP of Lakeview Branch.
As a staunch advocate, she works tirelessly to assist fellow veterans within her community. She has been a member of the Elmont American Legion for over 11 years and has held numerous executive seats including Adjutant. Currently, she is the Financial Officer, holding a dual membership as an Auxiliary member. She now works as a part-time Crossing Guard for The Nassau County Police Department.
Ms. Earley-Davis is the proud wife of a Veteran, and a mother of three children and two grandchildren.
