Captain Curtis Feggins

Captain Curtis Feggins enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in 1998 as an F-18 Electrician, where he achieved the rank of E5 Sergeant. In 2011, he joined the United States Air Force and achieved the rank of Captain.
While serving in the Marine Corps, he was stationed in Lemoore, CA. Captain Feggins worked as an Aircraft Electrician F/A-18 (Hornets). His duties included location and repair of AC/DC power distribution systems, communication systems, voltage frequency regulators, navigation systems, and instrumentation sensor indicators and integrated weapons systems. He also interpreted digital logic, schematics, block diagrams, wiring and color code diagrams and technical publications. He was honorably discharged from the Marine Corps in 2003.
In 2011, he joined the United States Air Force Reserve, earning his commissioning in 2012. He successfully completed the Air Force Intelligence course and achieved the rank of 1st Lieutenant. Captain Feggins served as an Air Force Intelligence Officer, where he performed and managed intelligence functions and activities to support the United States allied forces. He also advised commanders and other users of intelligence information essential to military planning, and was OIC of External Training and Force Protection.
Between 2015 and 2019, he was stationed with the 105th Base Defense Squadron in Newburgh. He performed research, collected, interpreted and analyzed raw intelligence data and statistics, and conducted Intel briefings. Captain Feggins also participated in exercises, contingency operations, plans, training programs and Intel system integration operations. He conducted training for Airmen in recognition and identification of military equipment, enemy threats, current intelligence and terrorist weapons, as well as techniques, tactics and procedures, and briefed and debriefed Airmen on missions. He achieved the rank of Captain.
Currently, Captain Feggins is the Reservist IMA to the Senior Intelligence Officer of the 86th Operational Support Squadron located in Ramstein, Germany. He has served in multiple countries in Europe, Africa and the Middle East, most recently deployed to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, in 2019.
In recognition of his service, he has received 1-Meritorious Service Medal, 2-Air Force Outstanding Unit Award, 3-Marine Corps Good Conduct Medal, among others.
Captain Feggins has been a member of U.S. Senator Kirsten Gillibrand's Service Academy Nomination Panel since 2019. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and a current Top Secret/SCI clearance from the Air Force, in addition to various schools and certifications.
