Randy Twine

Randy Twine enlisted in the United States Army, where he served for 17 years.
He is a 64-years-young veteran from District 18 in Brooklyn, New York.
Driven by a passion to serve his county, Mr. Twine joined the United States Army in 1977. Mr. Twine comes from a long line of service members in his family who answered the call of duty to serve their Nation. His father served in the United States Navy. Four of his uncles bravely enlisted and served in the United States Army.
Mr. Twine was inspired by witnessing their commitment to protect and serve. He enrolled in the Army as an Air Defense Artillery Crewman. He was first stationed in Ft. Hood, Texas and then went to Germany.
Mr. Twine served in Operation Desert Storm in 1991 as part of the 369th Battalion. He was also stationed in Korea, where he served as an Air Defense Artillery Short Range Missile Crewman.
Upon his return from the military, Mr. Twine took a position with the United States Post Office. He also worked as a Metropolitan Transit Authority Bus Driver in Brooklyn.
Mr. Twine, now retired, resides in the Bushwick section of Brooklyn. An active member in his community, he enjoys helping out his neighbors and watches out for them as well.
He lives with his beloved wife, Olivia; they have been married for 34 wonderful years. They are the proud parents of two beautiful daughters; they have four grandchildren and a German Shepherd named Foxy.
