Patricia Masi Stock

Patricia Masi Stock is an educator and helpful resource, advocate, and friend in her community. She grew up on a dairy farm on Fiery Hill in the Town of Danube.

In 1974, Ms. Stock relocated to Little Falls after marrying her husband, the late Roger Stock. She earned a permanent certification in Grades 7-12 History and English, teaching at Oppenheim-Ephratah Central School for 37 years, where she was also Advisor to the Student Council and Yearbook. She also taught 11th grade American History for BOCES summer school for 30 years.

Ms. Stock is an active member of her community, and has organized numerous events, including the annual Canal Days Parade and Car Show, for more than 35 years. She has served as City of Little Falls Historian for the last seven years, and is now a director with the Little Falls and Herkimer County historical societies.

Always willing to help in any way, Ms. Stock volunteers her time and talent making costumes for school plays and altering cheerleading uniforms. She has assisted community members researching family genealogy, worked with adults to earn their General Education Diploma (GED), and tutored school-age children who struggle with English, history, and even math.

Ms. Stock spends her free time with family and friends. She proudly attends her granddaughters' school events and volunteers with her daughter’s animal rescue, Pause 4 All Paws.

Ms. Stock is truly deserving of this recognition. She has proven herself to be a positive influence on those around her, and has continued to enrich the quality of life in her community. For more than 30 years, she has shown unwavering dedication to her family and the community she cherishes, making her a true asset and an inspiration to those around her. Without Ms. Stock’s hard work and grit, Little Falls, Herkimer County, and the 49th Senate District would not be the same. Throughout her life, Ms. Stock has accomplished much and has demonstrated what it means to be a Woman of Distinction.

Ms. Stock and husband, Roger, raised two children, Jason and Johanna. They have four granddaughters, Reagan, Kennedy, Taylor and Anicia. They shared a beautiful marriage of 45 years before his passing on February 8, 2020.
