Deborah Antoniades

Deborah Antoniades is a passionate community organizer and volunteer who works for the betterment of all.

A lifelong resident of the Greater Rochester area, Ms. Antoniades has been steadfast in her efforts to uplift the most vulnerable within the community. She works to ensure that the region is a safer and healthier place to call home.

An advocate throughout her life, Ms. Antoniades is a champion for body autonomy and reproductive choice. Over the years, she has assisted in organizing and has attended numerous rallies, protests and marches. She has also dedicated considerable time to volunteering as a clinic escort at Planned Parenthood.

Ms. Antoniades has been a devoted advocate for the rights and needs of Rochester’s LGBTQ+ community, and believes that all people deserve to be treated with dignity and kindness. She has also worked closely with Roc the Peace and Rise Up Rochester and, in addition, focuses her efforts on making sure that our young people have the support they need within the community.

A fierce advocate for commonsense gun reform, Ms. Antoniades serves as a local group lead with Moms Demand Action. She helped found the Autism Grandparents Support Group, in partnership with AutismUp, and continues to work alongside NAMI to create resources for grandparents of young people who may be struggling with their mental health.

A devoted grandmother and community member, Ms. Antoniades is committed to building a brighter future for her grandson, Jonathan, and all children in our community.
