Do you know a student who demonstrates exceptional kindness? Senator Sue Serino wants to recognize them for their contributions to your school community!
According to StopBullying.gov, one in three students in the United States have said they experienced bullying, and 28% of students have said to experience it in middle school. In an effort to combat these statistics, I have recently launched a new initiative—“Serino’s Superstars”—aimed at recognizing students in middle schools throughout our Senate District who stand out due to their kindness.
I invite you, and your staff to nominate one outstanding student from each middle school in your district who is making a difference in the lives of others through their kindness, courage and leadership.
Together, we can work to foster positivity and elevate kindness in our schools and our communities. I have enclosed a nomination form and I encourage you to work with your team to select one student from each middle school in your school district to be recognized. Completed nomination forms are due back to my office by Monday, April 15.
If you have any questions or concerns, please call my District Office at 845-229-0106.
