Interview Event: Seeking Candidates for Jobs in Staten Island's Hospitals & Nursing Homes

Senator Andrew Lanza and 1199SEIU Employment Center are collaborating to promote job opportunities in Staten Island’s healthcare sector. People interested in learning about current employment opportunities in local hospitals and nursing homes are invited to attend a special interview event.

Employment interviews and recruitment efforts will occur for numerous positions including but not limited to, certified nursing assistants, medical assistants, licensed social workers, licensed practical nurses, and lab technologists. Positions are also available in hospitality, clerical, and food service fields. Job requirements will vary, with some positions requiring a high school diploma/GED, while other positions may require state certification, licensure, or a college degree.

Staten Island hospitals and nursing homes are often seeking to fill open positions and work with the 1199 SEIU Employment Center to identify qualified candidates.

Staten Island is a great place to both work and live. Senator Lanza and the 1199SEIU Employment Center are looking forward to helping match Staten Islanders with potential job opportunities here in our home community.

Attendees will meet one-on-one with an 1199SEIU recruiter. The 1199SEIU Employment Center offers full placement services, including resume reviews, screening, one-on-one interviews, and applicant matching. Opportunities may include full time, part time, and per diem positions.
