Black History Through The Ages, The Fight Continues: A Celebration in Honor of Black History Month

Please join Senator Anna M. Kaplan on Wednesday, February 16 at 7pm for her Fourth Annual Black History Month Celebration, taking place virtually this year due to the pandemic.

The event, which will be hosted by NAACP Westbury Chapter President Leslie Davis, will honor local African-American trailblazers including Fmr. Town Councilmember Viviana Russell, and it will recognize many local community leaders, and student rising stars. Pastor Victor Joe Lewis will be honored posthumously. 

The event will feature a keynote address by Lt. Governor Brian A. Benjamin.
