- Caribbean American Heritage
The Afro-Latino Jazz Festival is a celebration of the vibrant musical genre born and perfected in our community. Senator Cordell Cleare invites everyone to attend the Annual Festival, with Marcus Garvey Park once again as the stunning backdrop. We thank our community partners, New York State Senator Jose Serrano, Music Speaks Festival, New Heritage Theatre Group, Caribbean Cultural Center African Diaspora Institute, Jazzmobile 60 Summerfest, and the Marcus Garvey Park Alliance.
This family-friendly event highlights the rich cultural heritage of Afro-Latino music, with exciting performances by: Anette A. Aguilar & StringBeans, Conjunto Sabor Anejo, and Ali Bello & The Charanga Syndicate. With community partners and sponsors, including the Afro-Latin Jazz Alliance and Harlem Arts Alliance, this festival promises to be another unforgettable day of family fun, cultural pride, and world-class performances.
