Senator Cordell Cleare Hosts A Public Forum

This public forum is designed to address asylum seekers; unseen, unspoken, and left at the border. To determine their needs and find solutions, in Harlem and surrounding communities. Elected officials, community leaders and faith-based organizations will be in attendance.

These asylum seekers walked through countries in fear to get here. Witnessing murder, experiencing robberies, and seeing bodies left to die in the jungle.

They left their country with little more than the shirts on their backs, and now sleep on the street with little to no access to resources for food and shelter or know how to gain services. Whatever they were fleeing must have been extremely traumatizing to leave their loved ones for the unknown.

Their problem is a community problem that we can solve together. Please start by sharing this link. Your input is necessary. Your voice is appreciated.
