Together with the New York State Department of Taxation and Finance, we will be hosting a free Property Tax Forum for residents on Wednesday, December 4th at the Rockland Community College Student Union Center Room 3214 from 5:30PM to 7:30PM.
During the forum, we will be addressing:
- Property Tax
- Changes to the STAR Program
- Veterans exemptions in property taxes
- How to get proper assessment on your property
- What to do when you get improperly assessed
