On Monday, April 27th, I am hosting a Senior Health Expo & Resource Fair alongside NYS Senator Anthony Palumbo, NYS Assemblyman Joe DeStefano, Suffolk County Legislators Chad Lennon and Dominick Thorne, and Cornell Cooperative at the Longwood Public Library – 800 Middle Country Road, Middle Island, NY 11953 – from 10am to 2pm. This FREE event will focus on the unique needs of seniors, such as health screenings, fitness and nutrition resources, home safety tips, financial planning, insurance guidance, and local service providers. A1C screenings, Alzheimer’s and Dementia Presentation, and “Shed the Meds” drop-off location also included.
