Friday, June 26-  U.S. Passport Application Assistance Day
10AM-3PM
Community residents can get assistance with preparing their U.S. Passports Applications. Co-sponsored by the New York Passport Agency. Requirements are:

• Proof of U.S. Citizenship
( Birth Certificate; Previous US passport; Certificate of Naturalization)
•Proof of Identity
(Valid driver's license; Employment photo ID from a government agency; Military photo; Valid college photo ID )
•Two Photographs
(Passport size 2 inch by 2 inch)
•Application Processing Fees
(For age 16 and up) $75.00/payable with a money order payable to U.S. Department of State and $25.00 agency processing fee payable with cash only (For age 15 and under) $60.00/payable with a money order payable to U.S. Department of State and $25.00 agency processing fee payable with cash only



Friday, July 10th – Seniors Service Day
10AM- 3PM
Senior citizens can visit the office to receive information from the following;
•AARP- Health care
•Social Security Administration- Retirement Benefits, Medicare Part D
•NYS Office of the Attorney General- Smart Seniors Program
•NYC Department of the Aging- Access to Senior Programs


Friday, July 17, 2009 – Claim Funds & Save a Life
•New York Blood Center, Inc. - Donate blood today and help give the gift of life
•New York State Comptroller’s Office - Office of Unclaimed Funds - New York State is currently holding billions of dollars in unclaimed funds. Some of this money may belong to you, come out and search their database and learn how to file a claim
