Child Passenger Safety Event

New York State Senate President Pro Tempore Malcolm A. Smith in conjunction with the Education and Assistance Corporation (EAC) Safe Start Program will host a free child car safety seat program during National Child Passenger Safety Week. Certified child passenger safety technicians will educate parents and caregivers on how to install their child’s safety seats properly in their vehicles. In addition, low-income parents and caregivers who do not have a safety seat for their child may receive a free child safety seat.

National Child Passenger Safety Week runs from September 12- 18^th.
