The New York State Senate Task Force on Workforce Development will be holding a press conference on Tuesday, May 24, at 1 p.m. in Room 332 of the Capitol building in Albany to announce a new report summarizing findings and recommendations to improve the connections between job seekers and employers looking to hire new workers.
Task Force Co-Chairs Senator Jack Martins (R-C-I, Mineola) and Senator George Amedore (R-C-I, Rotterdam) will summarize the input received from leaders in business, labor, public education, higher education, local governments, and workforce training and development during forums held throughout the state.
