Bill Status Alerts

A NEW SERVICE FROM THE NEW YORK STATE SENATE

Bill alerts

The New York State Senate's bill status alerts make it easy for you to stay up-to-date on the bills that are important to you in the New York State Legislature.  Subscribers receive timely email notifications for important milestones in the lifecycle of a bill.

The notification messages include content that will help you understand the significance of each event in the bill’s lifecycle, and it provides helpful cues about how you can add your voice to the legislative process.

To get alerts in your email inbox, fill out the alert subscription form that appears on each bill page (you can easily find the bills you care about using our built-in legislation search). Be sure to click the link in the confirmation email that will be sent to you immediately.

You can unsubscribe at any time: look for the "Unsubscribe"  and "Manage Subscriptions" links that appear at the bottom of the notification emails.
