NY Senate District 59
The 59th Senate District comprises all or portions of four Western New York counties, including Erie, Wyoming, Livingston and Monroe. Communities include West Seneca, Lancaster, Warsaw, Geneseo and Henrietta.
In addition to traditional business and manufacturing operations, agriculture is the number one industry in the district, with Wyoming County leading the state in dairy production.
The district is home to the State University of New York at Geneseo, Rochester Institute of Technology, Letchworth State Park and Knox Farm State Park.
Historical sites include the Graycliff Estate, the Original American Kazoo Company, the Arcade & Attica Railroad, Genesee Country Village & Museum and the National Warplane Museum.
