LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION honoring Daniel J. Brady upon the occasion of his
designation as recipient of the 2008 ALS Provider of the Year Award by
the Orange County Emergency Medical Services Council, Inc.

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to recognize and pay
tribute to those individuals within the State of New York who, in the
course of their jobs, perform acts of heroic dimension; and
WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that those who give
outstanding service to the people of the Empire State and whose extraor-
dinary achievements save the lives of their fellow citizens should be
recognized because their efforts so profoundly strengthen our shared
commitment to family and community life; and
WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its long-
standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to honor
Daniel J. Brady upon the occasion of his designation as recipient of the
2008 ALS Provider of the Year Award by the Orange County Emergency
Medical Services Council, Inc.; and
WHEREAS, Daniel Brady is a member of Regional EMS; he has been recog-
nized for this special award due to his strong efforts in assisting
fellow citizens 24 hours a day and seven days a week; and
WHEREAS, On many occasions, Daniel Brady has acted with bravery and
steady precision in dealing with the risk and drama of emergency situ-
ations; and
WHEREAS, In the performance of his duties, Daniel Brady has demon-
strated his character and his compassion for the welfare of others; he
is a tremendous asset to his organization and a distinguished citizen of
the State and Nation; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor Daniel J. Brady upon the occasion of his designation as recipient
of the 2008 ALS Provider of the Year Award by the Orange County Emergen-
cy Medical Services Council, Inc.; and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to Daniel J. Brady.
