LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION honoring Christine Bierganns upon the occasion of
receiving the Personal Achievement Award from the Ulster-Greene ARC at
its 28th Annual Humanitarian Awards Dinner on May 1, 2009

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to recognize and pay
just tribute to those citizens who embody the true American spirit,
demonstrating personal courage and determination while serving as an
inspiration to others; and
WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its long-
standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to honor
Christine Bierganns upon the occasion of receiving the Personal Achieve-
ment Award from the Ulster-Greene ARC at its 28th Annual Humanitarian
Awards Dinner on May 1, 2009; and
WHEREAS, In 2008, Christine Bierganns applied for a position as an
office aide in the Ulster-Greene ARC supported work employments program
and has become an outstanding worker; and
WHEREAS, A role model for many who face similar obstacles which she
has faced and overcome, Christine Bierganns has mastered all office
duties and receives praise from all who have the pleasure of working
with her; and
WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that when individ-
uals of such noble aims and accomplishments are brought to our atten-
tion, they should be celebrated and recognized by all the citizens of
the great State of New York; and
WHEREAS, This Legislative Body is pleased to have this opportunity to
express its highest admiration for Christine Bierganns and to wish her
continued success in all of her future endeavors; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor Christine Bierganns upon the occasion of receiving the Personal
Achievement Award from the Ulster-Greene ARC at its 28th Annual Humani-
tarian Awards Dinner on May 1, 2009; and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to Christine Bierganns.
