LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION honoring Kaitlin E. Dinet upon the occasion of
her designation as recipient of the Joseph A. Myers Community Service
Award by the Rockland County Youth Bureau

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to recognize and pay
tribute to those young people within the great Empire State who have
made strong contributions to their communities and who serve as role
models for their peers; and
WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its long-
standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to honor
Kaitlin E. Dinet upon the occasion of her designation as recipient of
the Joseph A. Myers Community Service Award by the Rockland County Youth
Bureau to be celebrated at its 29th Annual Youth Forum and Awards Night
on Thursday, May 14, 2009, at Terrace on the Hudson, Haverstraw, New
York; and
WHEREAS, Kaitlin E. Dinet is receiving the distinguished Joseph A.
Myers Community Service Award for her outstanding volunteer work in
Rockland County; and
WHEREAS, She has given not only of her time and energies but also of
her competence, intelligence and leadership and consequently has been
designated for special honor; and
WHEREAS, Kaitlin E. Dinet has been called upon to contribute her time
and talents to countless civic and charitable endeavors and has always
given of herself unstintingly; and
WHEREAS, Throughout the entire period of her community service, a
period of constructive involvement, Kaitlin E. Dinet has stood constant
in dignity, good grace and humor; and
WHEREAS, Rare indeed is the impressive dedication shown by an individ-
ual for the benefit of others which Kaitlin E. Dinet has displayed
throughout her life; and
WHEREAS, With her sense of civic duty and her commitment to others,
Kaitlin E. Dinet represents the best development of the potential which
is inherent in our most precious resource, our youth; now, therefore, be
it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor Kaitlin E. Dinet upon the occasion of her designation as recipient
of the Joseph A. Myers Community Service Award by the Rockland County
Youth Bureau; and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to Kaitlin E. Dinet.
