LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION commending the Wantagh Post Office upon the occa-
sion of its designation as recipient of the Beautification Award by the
Wantagh Chamber of Commerce on January 23, 2009

WHEREAS, It is the custom of this Legislative Body to honor those illus-
trious individuals and institutions of the State of New York whose
purposeful endeavors serve to enhance the quality of life in their
communities; and
WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its long-
standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to commend
the Wantagh Post Office upon the occasion of its designation as recipi-
ent of the Beautification Award by the Wantagh Chamber of Commerce; and
WHEREAS, The Wantagh Post Office (North) will be recognized at the
Wantagh Chamber of Commerce's Annual Installation Dinner Dance to be
held on Friday, January 23, 2009, at Manor East Catering Hall in Massa-
pequa, New York; and
WHEREAS, It is with great admiration that this Legislative Body
applauds the efforts of all the individuals involved in this vital
organization, and to recognize their unwavering devotion to improving
the quality of life for others; and
WHEREAS, Throughout its distinguished history, the Wantagh Post Office
has diligently served the residents of Wantagh, New York, and has had a
positive impact throughout the entire community; and
WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that when organiza-
tions of such noble aims and accomplishments are brought to our atten-
tion, they should be celebrated and recognized by all the citizens of
the great State of New York; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
commend the Wantagh Post Office upon the occasion of its designation as
recipient of the Beautification Award by the Wantagh Chamber of
Commerce; and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to the Wantagh Post Office.
