LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION honoring Dr. Jeff Levy upon the occasion of
receiving the Columbus F. Arone Award from Westchester and Rockland
Society of Pharmacists on May 9, 2009

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to take note of and
publicly acknowledge individuals who have distinguished themselves
through their exemplary careers, accomplishments, and purposeful lives
of service to their community; and
WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its long-
standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to honor Dr.
Jeff Levy upon the occasion of receiving the Columbus F. Arone Award
from Westchester and Rockland Society of Pharmacists at its 104th Annual
Dinner Dance on Saturday, May 9, 2009, at The Davenport Club, New
Rochelle, New York; and
WHEREAS, A man of singular distinction, Dr. Jeff Levy has continually
demonstrated extreme competence, extraordinary intelligence and diligent
leadership in his unwavering service to his community and profession and
consequently has been selected for this most prestigious honor; and
WHEREAS, A well-respected pharmacist, Dr. Jeff Levy is a regular
lecturer for the Continuing Education Programs of Westchester and Rock-
land Society of Pharmacists; in addition, he is an active member of the
Society as well as AZO; and
WHEREAS, Dr. Jeff Levy is an extraordinary leader in his profession
who has given of his time and talents to improving the operation of
health care systems, and in doing so, he has greatly contributed to the
accurate, efficient disbursement and best use of medicine; and
WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that those who
enhance the quality of life in their community and have shown a long and
sustained commitment to the maintenance of high standards in their
profession, certainly have earned recognition and applause; now, there-
fore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor Dr. Jeff Levy upon the occasion of receiving the Columbus F. Arone
Award from Westchester and Rockland Society of Pharmacists; and be it
further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to Dr. Jeff Levy.
