LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION commending Dave Mohr upon the occasion of his
designation as the 2008 Star of the Year by St. Luke's Cornwall Hospital

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to take note of and
publicly acknowledge individuals who have distinguished themselves
through their exemplary careers, accomplishments, and purposeful lives
of service to their community; and
WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its long-
standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to commend
Dave Mohr upon the occasion of his designation as the 2008 Star of the
Year by St. Luke's Cornwall Hospital; and
WHEREAS, Dave Mohr, a two-year employee, is a physical therapist and
site supervisor at St. Luke's Cornwall Hospital's Center for Rehabili-
tation; he had been the hospital's Star of the Month in June and was one
of 12 employees eligible for the Star of the Year recognition; and
WHEREAS, An outstanding employee, Dave Mohr is a critical part of the
rehabilitation team at St. Luke's Cornwall Hospital; his unwavering
enthusiasm for the profession and practice of physical therapy is
inspiring while his superb ability to make co-workers and patients feel
at ease is unrivaled; and
WHEREAS, Dave Mohr is a man of singular distinction, whose wisdom,
guidance and unparalleled professionalism has earned him the admiration,
esteem and affection of all those he has come in contact with throughout
his years of service with St. Luke's Cornwall Hospital; and
WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that those who
enhance the quality of life in their community and have shown a long and
sustained commitment to the maintenance of high standards in their
profession, certainly have earned recognition and applause; now, there-
fore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
commend Dave Mohr upon the occasion of his designation as the 2008 Star
of the Year by St. Luke's Cornwall Hospital; and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to Dave Mohr.
