LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION commending Lynn Rudolf upon the occasion of her
designation as the BELLMORE LIFE 2009 Mother of the Year

WHEREAS, Individuals who devote their lives to raising their families to
enable them to build lives of dignity and self-worth are deserving of
the highest praise and recognition; and
WHEREAS, Lynn Rudolf has given not only of her time and energies but
also of her love, competence, intelligence and leadership and conse-
quently has been designated for special honor by BELLMORE LIFE, which
serves Bellmore, New York, and its surrounding communities; and
WHEREAS, This Legislative Body is justly proud to commend Lynn Rudolf
upon the occasion of her designation as the BELLMORE LIFE 2009 Mother
the Year; and
WHEREAS, Lynn Rudolf is the loving wife of Scott, and the proud mother
of Jaclyn, 12, and Amanda, 8, both of whom are loving and caring indi-
viduals serving as a testament to their mother; and
WHEREAS, Nominated by her daughter, Jaclyn, Lynn Rudolf has dedicated
her life to raising her family; she always volunteers to drive her chil-
dren and their classmates to various activities, as well as opens her
home to their friends; additionally, she proudly serves as the leader of
Girl Scout Troop 980 at Winthrop Avenue School; and
WHEREAS, Professionally, Lynn Rudolf owns a small wholesale watch
business in New York City; while juggling the responsibilities of moth-
erhood, she works three days a week in the city; and
WHEREAS, Extremely affectionate and loving, Lynn Rudolf is undoubtedly
proud of her daughters, serving as their biggest supporter and number
one fan; and
WHEREAS, A woman of singular distinction, Lynn Rudolf takes pride in
her family and they, in turn, respect the value of motherhood; and
WHEREAS, Lynn Rudolf represents a model of professional, community and
family life worthy of emulation; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
commend Lynn Rudolf upon the occasion of her designation as the BELLMORE
LIFE 2009 Mother of the Year; and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to Lynn Rudolf.
