LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION honoring Jared Feinberg upon the occasion of his
designation as recipient of the Chairman's Award by the New Yorktown
Chamber of Commerce

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to recognize that the
quality and character of life in the communities across New York State
are reflective of the concerned and dedicated efforts of those organiza-
tions and individuals who would devote themselves to the welfare of the
community and its citizenry; and
WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to publicly recog-
nize those extraordinary individuals who have made contributions to the
success and progress of society in the course of their life's work; and
WHEREAS, This Legislative Body is justly proud to honor Jared Feinberg
upon the occasion of his designation as recipient of the Chairman's
Award by the New Yorktown Chamber of Commerce at its 11th Annual Dinner
Dance on Friday, February 6, 2009, in Cortlandt Manor, New York; and
WHEREAS, This particular award is in recognition of Jared Feinberg's
outstanding service to the community; he served as President of the New
Yorktown Chamber of Commerce from 2005 through 2008, marked by a legacy
of working tirelessly to increase membership, programs, resources, and
local commerce; and
WHEREAS, Throughout the entire period of his community service, a
period of constructive involvement, Jared Feinberg has stood constant in
dignity, good grace and humor; and
WHEREAS, A true asset to society, Jared Feinberg's distinguished
record merits the recognition and respectful tribute of this Legislative
Body; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor Jared Feinberg upon the occasion of his designation as recipient
of the Chairman's Award by the New Yorktown Chamber of Commerce; and be
it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to Jared Feinberg.
