LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION commending Delhi Telephone upon the occasion of
receiving the Business of the Year Award from the Delaware County Cham-
ber of Commerce on September 17, 2009

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to honor those busi-
nesses within the State of New York which distinguish themselves through
outstanding professional behavior, corporate innovation, and enduring
commitment to the community; and
WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its long-
standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to commend
Delhi Telephone upon the occasion of receiving the Business of the Year
Award from the Delaware County Chamber of Commerce at its Annual Awards
Dinner to be held on Thursday, September 17, 2009, at Andes Hotel and
Restaurant, Andes, New York; and
WHEREAS, Delhi Telephone continues to regularly research and enhance
the telecommuting needs of their individual and business customers
throughout Delaware County; and
WHEREAS, The region struggles with the need for adequate internet
access, as a result, Delhi Telephone has made recent upgrades making
available high-speed internet service, fiber and wireless, coupled with
cable and telephone access, thereby truly demonstrating an unwavering
commitment to the Delaware County business community; and
WHEREAS, It is with great pleasure that this Legislative Body acknowl-
edges this exceptional business and its contributions to the local and
State economies, fully confident that it will continue to enjoy the
sparkling successes it has experienced thus far; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
commend Delhi Telephone upon the occasion of receiving the Business of
the Year Award from the Delaware County Chamber of Commerce; and be it
further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to Delhi Telephone.
