LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION commending The Valley Group upon the occasion of
receiving the Adaptive Re-Use Project of the Year Award from the Ulster
County Development Corporation and Ulster County Chamber of Commerce

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to honor those illus-
trious organizations of the State of New York whose purposeful endeavors
serve to enhance the quality of life in their communities; and
WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its long-
standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to commend
The Valley Group upon the occasion of receiving the Adaptive Re-Use
Project of the Year Award from the Ulster County Development Corporation
and Ulster County Chamber of Commerce; and
WHEREAS, The Valley Group will be honored at the Ulster County Devel-
opment Corporation and Ulster County Chamber of Commerce Annual Awards
Dinner to be held at the Wiltwyck Golf Club on Thursday, October 22,
2009; and
WHEREAS, The Valley Group recently transformed their offices into a
shining example of design fitting its surroundings, creating a beautiful
structure befitting of Ulster County; and
WHEREAS, With more of a homestead feel than office structure, the new
Valley Group building is home to a distinguished company which has
proudly served Ulster County and its residents since 1927; and
WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that when businesses
of such noble aims and accomplishments are brought to our attention,
they should be celebrated and recognized by all the citizens of the
great State of New York; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
commend The Valley Group upon the occasion of receiving the Adaptive
Re-Use Project of the Year Award from the Ulster County Development
Corporation and Ulster County Chamber of Commerce; and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to The Valley Group.
