LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION honoring the Greater Hudson Valley Family Health
Center upon the occasion of its designation as recipient of the 2009
Commitment to Community Award by the Orange County Chamber of Commerce

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to take note of and
publicly recognize those organizations within the State of New York
which have positively impacted their communities and contribute to the
economic vitality of the State of New York; and
WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its long-
standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to honor the
Greater Hudson Valley Family Health Center upon the occasion of its
designation as recipient of the 2009 Commitment to Community Award by
the Orange County Chamber of Commerce to be celebrated at its Annual
Meeting and Awards Reception on Wednesday, October 21, 2009, at Kuhl's
Highland House, Middletown, New York; and
WHEREAS, Each year, the Orange County Chamber of Commerce recognizes
outstanding individuals and businesses that have made extraordinary
contributions to both the Chamber and the community over the past year;
the Greater Hudson Valley Family Health Center is one such business; and
WHEREAS, It is with great pleasure that this Legislative Body acknowl-
edges the Greater Hudson Valley Family Health Center and its contrib-
utions to the local and State economies, fully confident that it will
continue to enjoy the sparkling successes it has experienced thus far;
now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor the Greater Hudson Valley Family Health Center upon the occasion
of its designation as recipient of the 2009 Commitment to Community
Award by the Orange County Chamber of Commerce; and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to the Greater Hudson Valley Family Health Center.
