LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION honoring Lois Jennings upon the occasion of her
retirement as the Town Clerk of Lodi, New York, after 48 years of
distinguished service

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to recognize and honor
those distinguished citizens of this great Empire State who have devoted
themselves to faithfully serving the best interests of their community
and the needs of its residents; and
WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its long-
standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to honor Lois
Jennings upon the occasion of her retirement as the Town Clerk of Lodi,
New York, after 48 years of distinguished service; and
WHEREAS, Throughout her career, Lois Jennings served the Town of Lodi,
New York, with intelligence and caring dedication, continuously striving
to effectively fulfill the duties of her position; and
WHEREAS, Sincerely loved and greatly respected by all those with whom
she worked, Lois Jennings will be remembered for her honesty, integrity,
keen sense of duty and ability to show a unique grasp of human problems
in her official acts; and
WHEREAS, With Lois Jennings throughout have been her husband, George,
who feels privileged to be a part of her life and rejoices in her many
achievements; and
WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that when individ-
uals of such noble aims and accomplishments are brought to our atten-
tion, they should be celebrated and recognized by all the citizens of
the great State of New York; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor Lois Jennings upon the occasion of her retirement as the Town
Clerk of Lodi, New York, after 48 years of distinguished service, and to
wish her continued success in all of her future endeavors; and be it
further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to Lois Jennings.
