LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION congratulating Caitlin Kelly upon the occasion of
capturing the 2009 Section IX Championship in the 50-Meter Freestyle

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to acknowledge
outstanding young athletes within the State of New York who distinguish
themselves through their exceptional performance, attaining
unprecedented success and the highest level of personal achievement; and
WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its long-
standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to congratu-
late Caitlin Kelly upon the occasion of capturing the 2009 Section IX
Championship in the 50-Meter Freestyle; and
WHEREAS, A junior at Warwick Valley High School, Caitlin Kelly won the
50-Meter Freestyle and placed third in the 100-Meter Freestyle at the
Section IX Championships; and
WHEREAS, Poised eagerly with enthusiasm and determined purpose, Cait-
lin Kelly now stands honorably, with just pride in her accomplishments
and in eager anticipation of future challenges, understanding and appre-
ciating the caring counsel and support provided by her teachers, coaches
and parents; and
WHEREAS, Loyally and enthusiastically supported by family, fans,
friends and the community at large, Caitlin Kelly has clearly made a
contribution to the spirit of excellence which is a tradition at Warwick
Valley High School; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
congratulate Caitlin Kelly upon the occasion of capturing the 2009
Section IX Championship in the 50-Meter Freestyle and offer its best
wishes for a future of purposeful success and well-being; and be it
further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to Caitlin Kelly.
