LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION honoring Chris Brown and Mid-Island Medical
Supply upon the occasion of receiving the Beautification Award from the
Wantagh Chamber of Commerce

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to honor those illus-
trious individuals and institutions of the State of New York whose
purposeful endeavors serve to enhance the quality of life in their
communities; and
WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its long-
standing traditions, it is the sense of this Legislative Body to commend
Chris Brown and Mid Island Medical Supply upon the occasion of receiving
the Beautification Award from the Wantagh Chamber of Commerce; and
WHEREAS, Chris Brown will be honored at the Wantagh Chamber of
Commerce's 2010 Annual Awards Dinner, to be held on January 28, 2010, at
Westbury Manor in Westbury, New York; and
WHEREAS, Chris Brown has been called upon to contribute his time and
talents to countless civic and charitable endeavors and has always given
of himself unstintingly; and
WHEREAS, Throughout the entire period of his community service, a
period of constructive involvement, Chris Brown has stood constant in
dignity, good grace and humor; and
WHEREAS, Owned by Chris Brown, Mid-Island Medical Supply has become
Long Island's premier provider of Home Medical Equipment and boasts a
one of a kind retail showroom; it services home health agencies, physi-
cians, nurses, private pay individuals, industrial agencies, and other
healthcare entities; and
WHEREAS, Rare indeed is the impressive dedication shown by an individ-
ual for the benefit of others which Chris Brown has displayed throughout
his life; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor Chris Brown and Mid-Island Medical Supply upon the occasion of
receiving the Beautification Award from the Wantagh Chamber of Commerce;
and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to Chris Brown.
