LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION commending Steve's Deli upon the occasion of
receiving the Corporate Bell Award from the Mental Health Association in
Orange County

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to take note of and
publicly recognize those businesses within the State of New York which
have positively impacted their communities; and
WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to recognize and pay
tribute to those organizations of high purpose and worthy accomplishment
whose endeavors have faithfully served the welfare of the citizens of
the State of New York; and
WHEREAS, This Legislative Body is justly proud to commend Steve's Deli
upon the occasion of receiving the Corporate Bell Award from the Mental
Health Association in Orange County on Saturday, February 20, 2010; and
WHEREAS, The Corporate Bell is presented yearly to an organization
which has significantly contributed to the Mental Health Association and
the advancement of services for those residents who suffer from mental
illness; and
WHEREAS, An avid supporter of the Mental Health Association in Orange
County, Steve's Deli has worked diligently for the Mental Health Associ-
ation and the people who are affected by this illness; and
WHEREAS, Steve's Deli, located in Goshen, New York is owned and oper-
ated by Steve Spindler and his wife Debbie; Steve's Deli has served
Orange County with its delicacies for over 25 years; and
WHEREAS, Steve's Deli has become a vital part of the MHA family,
catering countless events and functions throughout the years; MHA and
partner agencies have relied upon Steve's Deli as their premier caterer
for a wide array of venues in the greater Orange County area; and
WHEREAS, Businesses such as Steve's Deli, which bring greater aware-
ness to mental health issues and assist people with mental illnesses in
their quest for dignity and independence, profoundly enhance the quality
of life for all citizens; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
commend Steve's Deli upon the occasion of receiving the Corporate Bell
Award from the Mental Health Association in Orange County; and be it
further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to Steve and Debbie Spindler.
