LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION honoring Terry L. Jandreau, CFP, upon the occa-
sion of receiving a President's Award from the Capital District YMCA

WHEREAS, The State of New York takes great pride in acknowledging its
esteemed residents who have distinguished themselves in their community;
and
WHEREAS, Terry L. Jandreau, CFP, will be honored by the Capital
District YMCA with its prestigious President's Award during a dinner to
be held at the Albany Marriott on April 20, 2010; and
WHEREAS, Terry is the honoree of the Schenectady YMCA; and
WHEREAS, He has a long and distinguished history with the YMCA, serv-
ing in a wide variety of positions; and
WHEREAS, Terry was hired in 1974 as an Associate Physical Education
Director and Day Camp Director at Camp Mohawk; he was promoted to Phys-
ical Education Director in 1976, and then to Director of Membership and
Program Services in 1978; and
WHEREAS, He has been an active participant in YMCA membership drives
and world service drives beginning with the Youth Division; and
WHEREAS, Terry has contributed his time to the Northeast Region Phys-
ical Education Society of YMCA's Chairman, North Country cluster of
YMCAs, to the YMCA National Assembly, and various YMCA committees; and
WHEREAS, He is a lifetime member of the Camp Chingachgook Alumni Asso-
ciation; and
WHEREAS, Terry has been honored with induction into the Order of Chin-
gachgook; and
WHEREAS, He is currently Branch Manager/First Vice President-Invest-
ment Officer for Wells Fargo Advisors; and
WHEREAS, Terry has exhibited the true spirit of this award through his
tireless dedication to the YMCA and the community; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor Terry Jandreau, CFP, upon the occasion of receiving the Presi-
dent's Award from the Capital District YMCA; and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to Terry Jandreau, CFP.
