LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION honoring Walden Savings Bank upon the occasion of
its designation for special recognition by the Hospice of Orange and
Sullivan Counties

WHEREAS, It is the practice of this Legislative Body to recognize those
institutions which serve the citizens and businesses of the State of New
York; and
WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that the quality and
character of life in this great Empire State are indelibly enriched by
the faithful efforts of those financial institutions and their leader-
ship who devote their purpose to promoting economic vitality and service
are to the public need; and
WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its long-
standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to honor
Walden Savings Bank upon the occasion of its designation for special
recognition by the Hospice of Orange and Sullivan Counties, to be cele-
brated on Saturday, March 27, 2010, at Anthony's Pier 9 in New Windsor,
New York; and
WHEREAS, Walden Savings Bank is being recognized for its excellence,
commitment and contributions to the community it has so ably served; and
WHEREAS, A true asset to society, Walden Savings Bank's distinguished
record merits the recognition and respectful tribute of this Legislative
Body; and
WHEREAS, It is with great pleasure that this Legislative Body acknowl-
edges this exceptional business and its contributions to the local and
State economies, fully confident that it will continue to enjoy the
sparkling successes it has experienced thus far; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor Walden Savings Bank upon the occasion of its designation for
special recognition by the Hospice of Orange and Sullivan Counties; and
be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to Walden Savings Bank.
