LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION commending Warwick High School student Jesse
Anser upon the occasion of capturing first place in two events at the
2010 New York State Boys' Skiing Championships

WHEREAS, This Legislative Body takes pleasure in honoring talented high
school athletes who distinguish themselves and their community through
outstanding athletic performance; and
WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its long-
standing traditions, it is the intent of this Legislative Body to
commend Warwick High School student Jesse Anser upon the occasion of
capturing first place in two events at the 2010 New York State Boys'
Skiing Championships; and
WHEREAS, Warwick High School student Jesse Anser finished first in
both the slalom and giant slalom races at the New York State Boys'
Skiing Championships held on February 24, 2010, at Bristol Mountain in
Bristol, New York; and
WHEREAS, In the giant slalom race, Jesse Anser's championship winning
time was 1:54.94; in the slalom, his winning time was 1:30.62; and
WHEREAS, In addition, Jesse Anser was named overall boys' champion at
the 2010 New York State Ski Championships; and
WHEREAS, Excellence and success in competitive sports can be achieved
only through strenuous practice; Jesse Anser's dedication to skiing is a
year-round, everyday commitment; he is highly focused and has developed
a matchless work ethic; and
WHEREAS, Jesse Anser's exemplary performance is reflective of his
dedication, determination and personal commitment; his achievements
stand as a hallmark of what is best in the families, schools and commu-
nities across New York State; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
commend Warwick High School student Jesse Anser upon the occasion of
capturing first place in two events at the 2010 New York State Boys'
Skiing Championships, and to congratulate him for the enduring honor he
has brought to his family, his school and his community; and be it
further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to Jesse Anser.
