LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION commending Do It Best Corp. upon the occasion of
its designation by the Orange County United Way as a recipient of its
Spirit of Caring Award on March 19, 2009

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to honor New York
State businesses which distinguish themselves through outstanding
professional behavior and enduring commitment to their community; and
WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its long-
standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to commend Do
It Best Corp. upon the occasion of its designation by the Orange County
United Way as a recipient of the Spirit of Caring Award at its Annual
Celebration of Dedication and Service Dinner, to be held on Thursday,
March 19, 2009, at Anthony's Pier 9 in New Windsor, New York; and
WHEREAS, The Spirit of Caring Award recognizes businesses, groups,
agencies or organizations which exemplify a demonstrated dedication and
commitment to improving the quality of life of Orange County residents;
and
WHEREAS, Do It Best Corp. and its dedicated employees have proudly
displayed an unwavering commitment to Orange County and to the work of
United Way and its mission; and
WHEREAS, Businesses such as Do It Best Corp. exert a strong, positive
influence on the communities they serve; they and their employees, and
their participation in community service, are elements vital to the
future of the citizens and communities of Orange County and New York
State; and
WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that when businesses
of such noble aims and accomplishments are brought to our attention, it
is appropriate to publicly proclaim and commend them for the edification
and emulation of others; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
commend Do It Best Corp. upon the occasion of its designation by the
Orange County United Way as a recipient of the Spirit of Caring Award on
March 19, 2009; and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to Do It Best Corp.
