LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION mourning the death of Wayne C. Felsheim, distin-
guished citizen and devoted member of his community

WHEREAS, It is with great sorrow and deep regret that this Legislative
Body records the passing of Wayne C. Felsheim, noting the significance
of his purposeful life and accomplishments; and
WHEREAS, A member of SS Cyril & Methodius Church in Binghamton, Wayne
C. Felsheim retired from Indian Valley Industries as warehouse manager
at Conklin Warehouse after 28 years of dedicated service; and
WHEREAS, A Vietnam War Veteran, Wayne C. Felsheim served as a Radio
Man in the United States Navy from 1966 to 1970; he was a member of the
Broome County All Wars Memorial Committee, Commander of V.F.W. Post
2332 in Johnson City for four years, Senior Vice Commander of the South-
ern Tier Counties Council and the National Deputy Chief of Staff for
District 5 in New York; and
WHEREAS, Wayne C. Felsheim is survived by his loving wife, Barbara
Felsheim; two stepsons, David Leonard and his fiancee, Jo Tokarcik, and
Shawn Leonard and his partner, Jodi Crotwell; his granddaughter, Gabr-
ielle Leonard; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Karen and Jim Schoenagel
and Janice and Jim Hadley; as well as three aunts, one uncle, two niec-
es, one nephew and several cousins, all of whom felt privileged to be a
part of his life and rejoiced in his many achievements; and
WHEREAS, Armed with a humanistic spirit, imbued with a sense of
compassion, and comforted by a loving family, Wayne C. Felsheim leaves
behind a legacy which will long endure the passage of time and will
remain as a comforting memory to all he served and befriended; now,
therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
mourn the death of Wayne C. Felsheim, distinguished citizen and devoted
member of his community; and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to the family of Wayne C. Felsheim.
